Scott began his career in the insurance industry after four years of service in the U.S. Navy and nine years of service with the State of North Carolina. He received his bachelor’s degree from Gardner-Webb University in 2003 and his master’s degree in Public Administration from The UNC at Greensboro in 2006. Scott is married and has two precious kids, Georgia and Coen.
